That’s not an eagle photo, so we must not have seen an eagle this morning, right? Well.

Did we see an eagle today? Maybe. Probably. But definitely? Well . . . maybe.
Tiffany and I went by the old nest and walked down to the American River bike trail. Nothing. No sightings. No hunches. But then way off, maybe a mile, Tiffany saw a spec in a tree. I took a picture, zoomed in, and it looked like something with enough white that it had to be a maybe.
We took off at a brisk pace, leaving the bike trail, and heading down a dirt trail. Initially it led near the water, but too many trees blocked our view to get a good look. We continued. The trail climbed, dropped, and turned away from where we needed to go.
We explored a little more and decided we needed to return to our car and drive to the other side of Lake Natoma.
To Be Continued . . .
