Eagle Watch 9.13.26

Late Sunday morning Tiffany and I spotted a nest that seems likely to belong to a pair of eagles other than Folsom’s Mama and Papa. Approximately 5 miles N.E. of their nest, we speculate that it may be one of Mama and Papa’s offspring and a mate.

Back in February of this year, on the very same trail, we spotted an eagle on top of tree.  It flew off not long after we saw it and we have had no other sightings in that area of either bird or nest until Sunday.

Although we looked we did not expect to find the new eagles, because the morning had already gotten late. We will return for an early am scout and we will keep you posted.
